Dianhong
Yunnan Dianhong (Yunnan black tea) is made from Yunnan's large-leaf tea variety, producing one of China's most robust black teas. Its defining features are prominent golden tips, bright ruby-red liquor, and a rich, honey-sweet flavor with floral undertones.
Large-Leaf Advantage
Yunnan's large-leaf variety produces leaves with exceptionally high polyphenol content, giving Dianhong its bold, full-bodied character. The plateau's high altitude, dramatic temperature swings, and persistent mist create ideal conditions for accumulating aromatic compounds.
Golden Tips & Grades
Dianhong grades are defined by原料嫩度: Golden Bud (all buds, highest grade), Supreme (one bud one leaf), and Grade One (one bud two leaves). The golden "tips" are actually the downy hairs on young buds, which oxidize to a golden color during processing — the more prominent, the higher the grade.
